Suzette’s father passed away without a written estate plan, resulting in the family’s loss of their treasured house on Lake Whitney and numerous oil and gas properties. Suzette was eight months pregnant and made 22 trips to clear the properties and manage the aftermath. It was an expensive and arduous nightmare.

Suzette’s hardship inspired her to found CapStar Financial Services, LLC in 1989, where she specializes in helping clients shift from accumulating wealth to distributing it wisely in retirement, through coordinated, tax-efficient strategies. She is deeply committed to her clients’ financial well-being and has built her practice on trust, personalized service and long-term relationships.
