Julia Hummel is a recent addition to the CapStar Financial team, bringing with her a strong foundation in finance and real estate. She graduated from Florida State University with degrees in Finance and Business Real Estate, launching her career by helping investors build wealth through commercial real estate. This hands-on experience, combined with a desire to make a more personal impact, inspired Julia to transition into financial advising.

She began her advisory journey at a Fortune 500 investment firm, where she gained valuable industry experience before joining CapStar Financial.

At CapStar, Julia collaborates closely with Suzette and Barbara in managing client portfolios and developing financial plans. She is also preparing to lead the Medicare division of the firm, expanding CapStar’s range of client services.

Julia holds a Series 66 license and serves as a fiduciary as an investment representative advisor.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys staying active—whether on the tennis court, at the yoga studio, or spending time with her miniature dachshund, Peanut.
