Lisa Dawson has been a client of CapStar Financial since December of 2016; however, in February of 2025 she joined our team as an Operations Support Specialist.

Since graduating from college her career has taken different paths. She has experience in Sales/Marketing working for a Fortune 500 company, Banking & Financial Services industry as a licensed account manager, and for the last decade working as an educator in the Career & Technology Department of Lake Travis High School.

Lisa works closely with Barbara Johnson in our operations department. Wearing a multitude of hats Lisa will support our money movement processes, completion of account openings, product forms, and any additional tasks that directly support the needs and wants of our clients. With her free time, she enjoys reading, walking, and attending sporting events. She is a cat lover for sure – meow! Also, she enjoys spending quality time with her two grown daughters, Rylee and Patsy Ann. In addition, and most importantly, as a daughter, she is an active monthly caregiver to her parents who reside in Lumberton, TX. At the ages of 94 and 92, her father and mother have had such an influence on her values – love is still in the air.
